The Proposal

Chad and I love taking pictures during the different MN seasons. There is one really lovely spot down in Minneapolis along the river that is especially beautiful. Well, one FREEZING Feb. day Chad insisted that we go take our winter pictures. I argued, but he insisted that we had to get them then. Once we got there and took some pictures Chad said he had a v-day poem for me, but couldn't wait to give it to me. He can never keep a surprise, so this was not too strange, except I was curious as to why he had to read it in the -26 degree weather. In the poem he detailed our relationship and ended with "will you marry me". It was so cold out that he couldn't get down on one knee or even get the ring out of the box!! But we finally got it out and on my finger!!
